Founded in May 1987, Plombaction is a Canadian general contracting company, which specifically provides building services. The company’s expertise includes air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, heating, plumbing, process mechanics and industrial piping. Over the years Plombaction has used its ingenuity to flourish and become a leader in its field in the Canadian market. Dynamic and innovative, Plombaction is equipped with a quality control program that uses the ISO 9001: 2000 standards as a frame of reference.
The company has progressively grown. Five years ago, it began to custom machine piping and to manufacture components for building site facilities. With its specialists in air conditioning, heating and piping, and a recently acquired expertise in new technologies such as solar and geothermal energy, Plombaction has worked on many large-scale projects such as power plants, hospitals and universities. Plombaction has been using maestro* in a multi-company context since 2003.
Specific Conditions
With, in the beginning, an in-house computer system and different accounting methods for each of the different divisions of the company, Plombaction was looking for a single integrated solution that would allow them to perform systematic real-time data compilation on a daily basis while storing the information in a specified location. The goal was to link all of the information from all of the divisions of each company. Since Plombaction is a dynamic and innovative company, they were in need of a system that not only would fit their style but was also flexible and able to be adapted to the growing demands of the company. Plombaction was searching for a dynamic partner that was willing to listen to their needs but that would not hinder them in their constant rapid growth.
The Maestro Solution
Maestro has worked closely with Plombaction to develop modules that are specifically adapted to their needs. A unique system of cataloguing tools and inventory was created. Soon a Dashboard will be implemented which will allow Plombaction to view and interpret results more easily and efficiently.
